A consultant by day is different from a consultant by night. If you are a consultant in your daily work, you have no other option in your client base. The sales team closes the deal and the managing director has the final say. You, a company cog, must impress, deliver and collect payments on time.
In fact, that's the best way to start counseling, like a side job. I created several companies (Crate, a software company and Hustle & Grind, an e-commerce site) and expanded my consulting to do a job that I could only dream of a few years ago.
